Dr. Carol Ann Washburn , is the President of The Magical Child Foundation . A master in the art of interpersonal relationships, her natural ease and competency set the tone for presentations and trainings that are noted as inspiring and enjoyable. Dr. Washburn is blessed with an exceptionally high EQ and the complementary intellect to clearly transfer information and inspiration to diverse audiences. She believes in the excellence inherent in all human beings, and her teachings weave individual strengths into powerful, productive teams.

Throughout her professional career she has devoted energy to promoting peace both locally and globally. She worked with community leaders to found Hale Halawai 'Ohana 'O Hanalei, a community non-profit foundation, located on the island of Kaua'i. While learning about the rich culture of Hawaii she researched the communication challenges and gifts inherent in diversity. This experience led to her involvement with the Magical Child Foundation. Dr. Washburn has also served on boards of other non-profit foundations that promote peace and positive educational experiences.

Her professional career as a corporate trainer and inspirational speaker brings an expertise in interpersonal communications, leadership and teaming to the Magical Child Foundation. Dr. Washburn received a bachelors and masters degree in speech communications and she extensively studied related communication technologies. Upon completing her doctorate in Higher Education, she began offering trainings throughout the United States. She teaches skills that empower others to “do what matters”, and In all endeavors she carries the message of promoting peace through purposeful, life-altering “play”.

From her experience as an outstanding athlete and coach she naturally demonstrates and inspires peak performance.
